The Ethiopian Electric Utility has been intsalled more than 30 thousand energy meters for koye feche condominium residents.
The meter installation work has been done at Koye Feche Project 11 and 18, where the electrical infrastructure work was completed, as well as at Project 17, 12, 16, Nifas silk, Akaki 1, Akaki 2 and other sites where the electrical infrastructure was not completed.
In order to provide electricity to these residents, 17.3 km low voltage line, 8.4 km underground medium voltage line and 4.1 km overhead line have been installed.
In addition the Utility installed eleven 630 kVA transformers, twenty one 800 kVA transformers and twenty one 1250 kVA transformers.
And more to install electric infrastructure in Koye Feche Project 12, 16, 17 Nifas Silk, Akaki 1, Akaki 2 and other sites compact transformers and underground cables have been provided.
The project has successfully provided individual meters to every household, allowing for stable power distribution and accurate billing.
